Products to meet and drive the most demanding Environments
Many organisations have very demanding Service Management (SM) environments. So, although we support the basic SM Architecture in Visio®, to address more demanding situations we have had to choose the alternative architecture management tools we use very carefully to ensure that there is already a rich set of complementary products to our own. IBM® Rational® System Architect® is one of these architecture management tools.
We support the IT Process Maps Service Management Architecture on Microsoft Visio and on more powerful “platforms”. Our products help you to plan, manage and integrate your services into your business environment.
It allows us to provide our products in “encyclopaedias” that are easy to use and integrate into your business architecture – whether this is documented or not. Furthermore we comply with the important “Ready for Rational” standards for using System Architect that apply to all approved developers of products for System Architect. (Please do not be deceived by the name; System Architect is a powerful system for managing the architecture for large enterprises, not just for systems. It is already used by many very large organisations in this context, that is, for their “Enterprise Architecture”).
We supply an enhanced version of the Service Management Architecture on IBM Rational System Architect, also an ITIL® v3 – ISO20000 Bridge.
We provide two Service Management (SM) products to further complement the rich System Architect environment:
- An enhanced Service Management Architecture to guide the implementation of ITIL v3 processes. This architecture will help you to accelerate the development and implementation of a wide variety of situations from the introduction of a single new ITILv3 Process Area in say, IT Operations, to establishing a common Service Management System for a large multinational organisation.
- An ITIL v3 - ISO 20000 Bridge for those organisations that wish to comply with the requirements of the Service Management standard, ISO 20000.
